MADC performances

Michael Calascione's letter of praise for the MADC presentation of 'As You Like It' prompted me to check out this year's Shakespearian offering once again, my interest in this particular seasonal performance having waned somewhat in recent years.

I, too, now feel that great praise is due to all participants in this venture, which achieved a level of excellence not often seen in previous performances of this genre.

The acting was consistently strong throughout and diction and delivery were an enormous improvement on past efforts. One or two of the performers, indeed, bordered on the truly excellent.

Congratulations to the director, cast and crew of this exceptional production.
