Singer Madonna marked World Aids Day‬ during aconcert in London on Monday by paying tribute to friends who had died from the disease.

She said the "entire family of my adopted son died of Aids" and ended her speech by saying "we shall overcome one day."

It was the singer's first return to London's O2 arena since her on-stage fall at the Brit Awards in the same venue in February.
