Malta was recently the subject of a one-page promotion carried in popular German woman's magazine Freundin. According to a spokesperson for the magazine, over 155,000 readers took part in the promotion, which could win one of them a holiday in Malta for two people on half board, together with a diving course.

The promotion was organised by the Malta Tourism Authority office in Frankfurt, and Kelloggs.
