Air Malta's new Airbus A319, bearing registration 9H-AEG and named Mdina, touched down at Malta International Airport on Wednesday for the first time.

The aircraft's maiden flight will be KM100/1 today, departing Malta at 7.40 a.m.

This is the first time that Air Malta will be operating a Maltese-registered Airbus A319 in its fleet.
