The Malta FA will be holding its annual general meeting today week at the Centenary Hall, Ta' Qali.

With the top officials in the Executive Committee having another year in office, elections will be held for the other 11 ordinary seats.

There is no need for an election in all divisions, though. Joseph Gauci and Paul Spiteri, of Birkirkara FC and Valletta FC respectively, are the only two candidates for the two Premier League posts.

Salvu Vella (Mellieha FC) and Joseph Farrugia (Kirkop) will fill the Division Two and Three seats, Joe Micallef was nominated by the Youth FA and Joseph Cassar Naudi by the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association.

Elections will be needed to elect two officials to represent Division One clubs in the Executive Committee. There are three candidates vying for the two seats here. These are: Ivan Calamatta (San Gwann), Stephen Perici (Senglea) and Charles J. Scerri (Lija Athletic).

Scerri is also one of the four contestants for the two posts allowed to member clubs in no particular division. The other three are Raymond Micallef (Attard), Charles Calleja (Gozo) and Paul Sammut (Sta Lucija).

The agenda also includes an administrative report, approval of the audited accounts and new amendments to the statute.
