Based on a manuscript discovered by Ġenoveffa’s grandson, the story reveals that his grandmother was far from the meek woman many imagined. Her writings portray a mischievous and passionate spirit, full of energy and a zest for life, whom neither family expectations nor advice could restrain − except, perhaps, Zanzu, the love of her life.
