The Malta Baby and Kids Directory marks its 10th anniversary with a children’s competition, themed 'Malta in Minecraft'. The aim of the competition is for children to create their favourite Maltese scene in the style of Minecraft, a popular video game and a learning tool.
“We are very excited to explore creativity in all its forms, and this special anniversary edition is really taking our competitions in a completely new direction,” Crysta Darmanin of Malta Baby & Kids said.
Minecraft is a game where users can build characters, buildings and mahines by using virtual building blocks.
The competition is open to children aged 5-12 years and the submissions can be in any medium: physical models, colour print-outs of screenshots or exports. The prizes of the competition include Raspberry Pi computers, Ozobots, free Minecraft accounts and course vouchers for EasyPeasy Coding workshops. Reproductions of the top submissions will be 3D printed by Thought 3D.
The competition ends October 15. For more information of the competition, visit Malta Baby & Kids Directory’s website.
