Malta and Kuwait have signed a convention for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.

The agreement, which aims to promote economic relations between Malta and Kuwait, was finalised following lengthy negotiations between tax officials of both countries, the Department of Information said.
