Malta launching for yachting publication

The Casino di Venezia at the Cottonera Waterfront Marina in Vittoriosa, will be hosting the world premier launch of `The Mediterranean Yacht Planners Guide - 2002`.

Agi Evangelides, managing director of Aegean Exhibitions and Publications of the UK, publishers of the Guide, confirmed this appointment last week in London, when outlining the proposed distribution and promotion campaign related to the yachting publication.

`The Mediterranean Yacht Planners Guide - 2002`, which will be highlighting the major yachting areas in the Mediterranean, including Malta, as well as providing a worldwide comprehensive yachting directory, is being made available to selected luxury yachts free of charge. Furthermore, the Guide is also being produced on a CD-ROM while a relevant website on line is being created.

The Malta launch will be held later on this month, thus securing adequate time for distribution prior to the start of the cruising season. The publishers are also finalising arrangements to have the Guide available in a number of high profile international boat fairs.

`Destination: Malta`, the title of the local dossier, written and co-ordinated by Wilfred Sultana, outlines the island`s potential as a major yachting haven and a popular port-of-call, and also expands on the services extended by the local yachting industry and by other related auxiliary concerns.
