Twenty-two out of 27 countries in the European Union have coalition governments. Forget Italy - you can never have a stable government with an 11-party coalition. But will we have an 11-party coalition in Malta? Of course not.

Like most other stable democracies in Europe, Malta would have a two-party coalition government, which includes a reliable party like Alternattiva Demokratika. A coalition culture means stability, understanding and a new co-operative attitude which has been lacking in Maltese politics for over 40 years. Let's go for it. Malta needs a coalition government.
