Malta featured in the French TV programme Racines et des Aîles presented by popular French personality Patrick de Carolis.

The programme, broadcast on TV station France 3, featured tourist locations such as Grand Harbour, the Grand Master's Palace, the Three Cities, Mdina, Gozo and the Azure Window. France 3 has a viewership of five million.

The programme was also broadcast on satellite and cable TV station TV5. The television crew was hosted by the Malta Tourism Authority, with the support of Air Malta.
