Malta will be featured in two one-hour episodes of the TV series Andata e Ritorno (Two-way ticket), broadcast on the popular Italian travel channel Marcopolo, part of the SKY (Italy) satellite network.
The first part of the Malta programme will be screened on May 13 at 11 p.m., in an episode entitled Malta: Un Paradiso a Portata di Mano (Malta: A Paradise At Your Doorstep). The programmes are scheduled for several repetitions running throughout May.
The travel show highlights the island's cultural assets, while presenting the wide array of activities and attractions which can be enjoyed in Malta, such as gastronomy and nightlife.
The programmes are presented by TV personality Savina Confaloni. Dominic Micallef, the MTA's regional director, was interviewed for the programme.
The Marcopolo journalist and TV crew visited Malta in early April and were hosted by the Malta Tourism Authority in collaboration with Air Malta.
