The 34th Malta Open Bowling Championship is entering its decisive phase at Superbowl at The Eden, as a highly competitive field continues to deliver standout performances throughout the qualifying rounds.

Following the Early Bird opening on Sunday, May 10, competitors have taken to the lanes over the past days, producing memorable moments and setting the tone for an exciting finish to this year’s tournament.

Competitors from Malta and the Netherlands have been particularly dominant so far, regularly securing top positions on the leaderboard and setting the pace heading into the final stages of the competition.

Among the standout performers, Nicolai Mallia impressed with two squad victories, while Mark Jacobs has maintained strong and consistent form throughout the week, positioning himself as one of the tournament’s players to watch.

The tournament has also seen a notable presence of female competitors, with Sarah Faraq from Egypt standing out across the first three days of competition with a series of impressive performances.
