The Malta Film Commission was continuing its efforts for parts of the feature film "Tripoli" to be shot in Malta, Economic Services Minister Josef Bonnici said in parliament yesterday.

He said the director and the production team behind "Tripoli" which is financed by Fox Film Entertainment, were still considering shooting parts of the film here. However, since parts of the script had been changed, scenes which were originally to have been filmed here may now not be shot here after all. This was a common situation in audio-visual productions.

The commission had been helping the production team for a number of months and was continuing its efforts for parts of the film to be shot here, the minister told Labour MP Rita Law.
