The draw of the Regions Cup was made on Friday at the UEFA headquarters and Malta were drawn in Group One together with teams from Germany, Greece and Spain in what is regarded a tough line-up for our country's amateur team.

Of note is the fact that this year Malta proceeded straight to the Intermediate Stage of the competition on the strength of last year's qualification to the subsequent round in Israel and also because our representative side has been ever-present in previous Regions Cup competitions.

The Group One matches are due to be held in Malta at a date still to be announced later on this year between August and December.
