Regus, the world's largest provider of outsourced workplace solutions is to open a state-of-the art business centre in Swatar in the coming weeks.

Regus operates over 950 business centres across 400 cities in 70 countries. Products and services include fully furnished, equipped and staffed offices, world-class business support services, meeting conference and training facilities and the largest network of public videoconference rooms all serving over 200,000 clients daily.

Fully furnished and equipped, the business centres also provide clients with Regus' wide range of services including high-speed Internet access, digital telephone service and on-site administrative support. Based on flexibility, productivity and simplicity, the Regus concept is giving the opportunity to companies to run their businesses in booming, dynamic and attractive markets around the world while remaining focused on their core business.

Regus has opted to strengthen its network and enhance its presence in the Mediterranean and is already present in Cyprus, Greece, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon and Turkey.

By establishing itself in Malta, Regus will enable both national and international companies to seize new opportunities, allowing them to develop or launch their businesses in the Maltese market without any risk.

Located in a brand new building, the Swatar City Centre will be providing clients with a strategic address in the city's business district. It will be offering a total of 120 workstations over a total area of 1,144 square metres.

Throughout the world, 400,000 clients rely on Regus' solutions to support their business growth.

British entrepreneur Mark Dixon was inspired to start Regus during a business trip to Brussels where he noticed how many business people were forced to work from hotels for lack of a more professional environment. He concluded that there must be a better way to work on the road and at home. Dixon's vision was to transform the way companies managed their global real estate needs by having them outsource their office space requirements to a service provider.

With this goal in mind, he launched Regus in 1989 with a single business centre in Brussels. As a result of the strong demand, Dixon quickly developed a global network of fully equipped, furnished and staffed business centre places that businesses could use on terms that met their unique needs.

Today, more than half of the Fortune 500, along with thousands of small- and medium-sized companies, are outsourcing some part of their office requirements to Regus. As a result, companies have reduced their facility costs, increased employee productivity, and are more focused on their core business.

The Regus Group is traded on the London Stock Exchange and maintains an aggressive growth strategy. Following its "right place, right time" concept and the changing nature of global business, the company has made several landmark transactions in recent years.

In April 2001, Regus acquired Stratis, a US-based network of franchised business centres, which provided the company with a franchising footprint in the US market. And in a deal driven by customer demand for a global workplace outsourcing provider, Regus acquired HQ Global Workplaces, the United States' leading business centre operator, in July 2004.

Regus Ltd. is incorporated in Jersey and its central administration is in Luxembourg.
