A print from an original watercolour by Edwin Galea showing the tanker Ohio in Grand Harbour after the epic Santa Marija convoy of 1942 has been presented to Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The presentation was held at Buckingham Palace by marine and naval artist Edwin Galea and Simon Cusens, who last year coordinated the official events marking the 60th anniversary of the convoy.

The painting was commissioned for the 60th anniversary commemoration by Technoline Ltd and the prints were produced at Progress Press.

The limited edition print was received by Prince Philip on behalf of the Queen.

The 700 limited edition prints were each signed by the artist and nine convoy veterans.
