The final coastal race of the year, organised by the Royal Malta Yacht Club, will be held on Friday, starting at 9 a.m.

Depending on weather conditions, the race, which has just attracted the sponsorship of Maltacom, takes sailors from the waters opposite the club either on a northerly course towards Comino and round Malta or a southerly course towards the Freeport and then rounding the island.

The Maltacom Round Malta Race is the last race on the calendar and brings to a close a very busy year for the RMYC.

Skippers' briefing will be held today at 7.30 p.m. Boats eligible to participate are to contact the RMYC secretariat at info@rmyc.org.
