Another milestone in local Internet connectivity has been achieved with Maltanet's announcement that it has launched a 2 megabit per second (Mbps) service for home use for Lm9.95 per month.

This is one of several offers launched by Maltanet at this year's IT&T Fair being held at the Trade Fair Grounds, Naxxar, up to today. A free month of service is being given as part of the offers. There are also offers for Light Internet users Always-On and Breeze pay-per-use Broadband ADSL services.

During the offer period, new customers will also receive a free gift.
