maltaNET's customer care team has won the company's quality and innovation award for its excellent efforts in developing www.maltanet.net/helpdesk.

The customer care team has managed to create a well designed and helpful site, which offers important information to customers.

The Maltanet award is given to a team or individual who has made a contribution towards fostering quality and innovation, which would improve the company's level of service to customers.

"Today, more than ever we must cultivate the creative and innovative potential of every employee in the organisation. Everyone is capable of thinking creatively and this award encourages our staff to keep these innovative ideas coming," Maltanet HR executive Dorianne Bianco Mallia told The Sunday Times.

David Gatt, Maltanet's Customer Care team leader said they were very pleased with the award as it gave the team a sense of satisfaction.

The Website enables Maltanet subscribers to access a range of information relating to the setting up of Internet and e-mail connections, FAQs, speed tests, error codes and suggested solutions.

The Website also aims to reduce customer care calls to agents and still provide excellent customer care. This award reaffirms that the team is using innovative approaches to always make the customer experience a more pleasant one, Maltanet said in a statement.

Maltanet is a leading Internet Service Provider and a subsidiary of the Maltacom group.
