Malta's Juventus Club DOC Malta Cuore Bianconero was this morning acknowledged as the biggest overseas club during a ceremony at the Juventus Stadium.

During a ceremony at the stadium in Turin in the presence of former Juventus legend Pavel Nedved and president Andrea Agnelli, Malta club president Omar Busuttil thanked members. 

He said the acknowledgement was even more significant considering that the Malta club was only set up four years ago. 

Juventus are favourites to win the Italian Serie A for a fifth consecutive year.
