I refer to the informative letter by J.A. Mizzi, an acknowledged authority on the Gallipoli campaign during World War I, on Maltese servicemen who are buried in Greece.
The information about the 125 Maltese servicemen buried in Greece did not claim that these were casualties of, or in, the Gallipoli campaign, but "following" that campaign.
For the record, the wreath-laying ceremony attended by the undersigned was one which is organised every year by the Embassy of Australia in Greece at the Phaleron cemetery, near Athens. This does not rule out that other ceremonies may have been held in other parts of Greece.
