The British music directors of the Ely Kings Choir were so impressed by the standard of St Martin's College Drama Troupe Choir they invited the Maltese choir to visit Ely and Newcastle in summer 2003.
The Ely Kings Choir were on a concert tour of Malta and Gozo earlier this month. The tour included a workshop and a concert in collaboration with St Martin's College Drama Troupe Choir.
With the support of Ronnie Micallef, from the British Council, the two choirs took part in a concert at the University of Malta as part of "Evenings on Campus".
The Drama Troupe is preparing for the opera "Little Mermaid", to be staged at St James Cavalier, in Valletta at the end of September.
