The European Schoolnet, an international partnership of 28 European Ministries of Education, in collaboration with the United Nations, is inviting all schools, including 13 Maltese registered schools who are participating in the Spring Day in Europe Project, to ring a bell three times on Tuesday at 10 a.m. to remind all about the importance of peace.

Any kind of bell can be used - church bell, a recording of a bell or the school bell. After ringing the bell, schools could observe one minute of silence for peace.

The Church in Malta endorses the UN Peace Bell initiative and will also be ringing the church bells.
