St Francis Catholic Church in Tripoli celebrated the feast of St Paul's Shipwreck with members of Libya's Maltese community last Tuesday followed by a reception.

Bishop of Tripoli Giovanni Martinelli and Bishop of Benghazi Sylvester Magro sent their best wishes and thanked the Maltese community gathered for their Christian witness among people of a different faith and the Church in Malta for its generosity in supporting the Church in Libya.

Fr Daniel Farrugia, who is giving pastoral service to the Church in Tripoli, thanks Malta's Ambassador to Libya Joe Cassar, Maltese nuns from the Daughters of the Sacred Heart and the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, and the Maltese community in Libya for their support and help for the church.
