A donation of 151 children's books in Maltese was made to the European School in Brussels on January 16.
The books were presented by Joe and Antoinette Camilleri Grima on behalf of Michael Deguara of Colour Image, Mġarr, to the two Maltese teachers.
Alexander Spiteri, director of quality and standards, was present at the occasion.
Maltese is taught at the European Schools in Brussels and Luxembourg from kindergarten to Baccalaureate level. The donation was greatly appreciated as it will go some way towards enhancing the children's linguistic and cultural competence in the Maltese language.
Mr Deguara is a well-known printer and publisher of Melitensia.
