These are the main stories carried in today's Maltese newspapers:

Times of Malta reports that a presentation by Air Malta’s top management in the presence of the Tourism Minister yesterday did little to allay workers’ concerns about their future. The second story quotes a spokesman for the European Peo ple’s Party saying that MEPs will “definitely” want Minister Konrad Mizzi to testify before the Panama inquiry committee.

The Malta Independent reports that Minister Chris Cardona was in a clear lead to secure the Labour Party deputy leadership post. It also reports that the Sliema council was prepared to take action against what it called a discriminatory legal notice concerning residential parking. 

l-Orizzont reports the investment of 32 million euros in three industrial projects. It also reports that plans to put monument in honour of Laparelli and Glormu Cassar in front of St John's Co-Cathedral have been shelved. 

In-Nazzjon leads with a story saying the Nationalist Party wanted any Outside Development Zone land should be protected through a two-thirds majority in Parliament.
