A 43-year-old man from Cospicua this morning pleaded not guilty to having raped his three daughters for some eight years ever since they attained puberty.

He was also accused of corruption of minors, holding the girls against their will, violent indecent assault and participation in sexual acts with minors.

The man also denied assaulting his wife and threatening his wife and children.

He was remanded in custody.

The court ordered a ban on the publication of names to protect the victims, who are now young adults.

The man also has a fourth daughter who is still a minor and was not involved in these cases.
