A 57-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash in Tarxien on Friday.

The Police said the incident happened at 2.15pm in Triq Ħal Luqa.

The crash involved a Toyota Vitz driven by a 28-year-old woman from Tarxien and a Daelim motorbike driven by a 57-year-old Birżebbuġa man.

The man was rushed to hospital where he was certified to be suffering grievous injuries. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
