Man, 70, drowns in swimming pool

A 70-year-old man drowned in a swimming pool in a private residence in Żurrieq.

The police said in a statement the man - an English national - was found dead at around 7pm on Monday at a residence in Triq il-Kbira.

A magisterial inquiry and police investigations are ongoing.
