A 76-year-old man who lives in Swieqi is in a critical condition after he found himself in difficulties after falling in a swimming pool.

The police said the accident happened at around 09.45 a.m. at a private residence in Triq Cafcaf, Swieqi.

Magistrate Giovanni Grixti is holding an inquiry.
