Joseph Agius 39, of Mellieha, pleaded not guilty today after being arraigned and accused of possessing 110 grams of cocaine in circumstances denoting it was not for his personal use.

Mr Agius was arrested following a police raid on a house in Mellieha on Saturday. Investigations involving other people are continuing.

Mr Agius was denied bail.
