The police have arrested a man who, they suspect, supplied the drug which killed a 22-year-old man from St Paul's Bay yesterday.

The 22-year-old was found dead at his home. He is thought to have died of a drug overdose.

The police said its investigations led it to the person who is suspected to have supplied the drug to the victim. The 30-year-old man, from Msida, was arrested late yesterday. The police found seven grams of heroin in his apartment as well as a small amount of cannabis and pills thought to be ecstasy.

The police also arrested four men and a women aged between 17 and 28 as part of their investigations. They hail from St Paul's Bay, Msida. Marsaxlokk and Luqa.
