Man arrested for suspected synthetic cannabis, heroin, cocaine trafficking

A sum of cash was also discovered in the man's possession

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking after being caught with substances suspected to be synthetic cannabis, heroin and cocaine.

Police said the Marsa resident was apprehended after two officers noticed “suspicious movements”, with a sum of cash also discovered in the man’s possession.

Magistrate Monica Borg Galea was informed of the case and opened an inquiry.

The man is being held in custody and is expected to appear in court before Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici at around 1pm.
