A Marsascala man was yesterday charged with fraud and misappropriation.

Magistrate Michael Mallia heard Anthony Ellul, 43, plead not guilty to defrauding Marouska Attard of less than Lm1,000 and misappropriating the money in the past few months.

He was granted bail on the condition he does not leave his home and bound by a personal guarantee of Lm1,000.

Police Inspector Kevin Borg prosecuted.

Lawyer Deborah Attard appeared for Mr Ellul.
