A 40-year-old man was critically injured in a three-storey fall in Valletta yesterday.

The police said the man, from Fgura, was standing on a wooden plank doing work in the shaft of an apartment block in Old Hospital Street.

Valletta police are investigating and a magisterial inquiry is underway.
