Man dies in four-storey building shaft fall
The 41-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene
A man died early on Monday morning after falling around four storeys into a building shaft in St Paul’s Bay.
Police and a medical team were called to the site on Triq il-Kavetta at around 6am. The 41-year-old Maltese national was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The body was located approximately six hours afterward, and forensic examinations have ruled out any foul play, sources informed Times of Malta.
Magistrate Joseph Mifsud was informed of the case, and an inquiry has been opened.
Police investigations are ongoing.
