Man who drowned at Qui-si-Sana identified as 43-year-old Palestinian

Victim was brought to shore by people who tried to save him but died in hospital

The man who drowned while swimming at Qui si Sana last Sunday has been identified as a 43-year-old Palestinian, police said.

The man was brought to shore by people who happened to be near him but they were unable to save him and he died in hospital. 

A magisterial inquiry is underway.
