A 34-year-old Italian man was seriously injured when he was trying to get into his own apartment late overnight. 

The police said that the man got home at 2am and found that he was locked out of his Swieqi apartment. He apparently climbed onto a low balcony to try to get into his home but the balcony collapsed onto him.
