Man found in possession of drugs during routine police patrol in St Paul's Bay

He is set to be charged in court on Thursday

A man is set to be charged in court on Thursday after being found in possession of cocaine, heroin and cash during a police patrol in St Paul's Bay.

The police said in a statement that the 20-year-old from Pietà was stopped and searched on Triq il-Port Ruman during a routine patrol.

The officers found eight sachets containing cocaine, four containing heroin and cash on the man.

He is expected to be charged in court on Thursday afternoon.
