A man was grievously injured when he fell off his horse cart in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq on Thursday.

The police said the incident was reported at around 4pm.

Initial investigations show the man, a 49-year-old from Naxxar, fell off the cart. He was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
