A 34-year-old man from Xgħajra was grievously injured this morning in a traffic accident in Marsa.

The police said the man lost control of his Maruti 800 while driving in Triq il-Ħaddiem at 1.30am, crashing into the traffic lights.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
