A 60-year-old man from Victoria was grievously injured when he was hit by a car on Sunday

The police said the accident happened in Triq Fortunato Mizzi, Victoria at 5.45am.

The victim, who was admitted to Gozo General Hospital, was hit by Hyundai Pony that was being driven by a 28-year-old man from Marsascala.

The police are investigating.
