Man hospitalised after falling three storeys from Gżira balcony

The man's condition is yet to be determined

A man was taken to hospital on Thursday afternoon after falling three floors from a balcony into a yard at a residence in Gżira.

Sources told Times of Malta that the man is Maltese and around 60 years old. It is unclear whether he is a resident of the block or a worker operating in the building.

His condition following the fall, which took place in the vicinity of Triq D'Argens at around 1.50pm, is yet to be confirmed, police said.

Emergency services had to force their way into a building, believed to be abandoned, on Triq D'Argens to access the yard. It is unclear which road the residence from which the man fell is located on.
