A Turkish man was seriously injured in Marsa late on Sunday when he was hit by a car.

The accident happened in Aldo Moro Road at 6.30pm and involved a Mercedes driven by a 36-year-old man from Ħaż-Żebbuġ.

The police described his injuries as serious.
