Man caught with 6g cocaine charged with intent to sell drugs
He was also charged with relapsing
A man was charged with the possession of cocaine and cannabis with the intent to sell.
Kyle Micallef, 23, pleaded not guilty to the charges that included relapsing.
The court heard how police found him in possession of 6g of cocaine, some unidentified pills and items related to the selling of drugs.
Lawyer Jose Herrera said his client had a drug-use problem and was ready to start a rehabilitation programme.
He said his client was a user and not a trafficker.
Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit issued a treatment order to guide him towards a rehabilitation programme and denied bail at this stage.
Attorney General lawyer Julian Scicluna prosecuted, with police inspector Alfredo Mangion.
