A 63-year-old man who fell down a flight of stairs at home in Kerċem on Wednesday succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, the police said. 

The man was rushed to Gozo General Hospital at around 7.30pm on Wednesday after the accident in Triq il-Gamiem, Kerċem.

A magisterial inquiry and police investigation are ongoing.
