An Arab man suffered serious wounds but is not in danger of dying when he was stabbed with a pointed instrument yesterday following an argument with several Maltese persons in Triq ir-Ramija, Siggiewi, the police said.

A number of people involved in the incident are assisting the police in their investigations. A magisterial inquiry is underway.
