Man stabbed in the neck in Paceville fight

The alleged aggressor was arrested

A man was stabbed in the neck and another was arrested after an argument got out of hand in Paceville in the early hours of Sunday.

The police said the victim, a Syrian man, was hospitalised, while a 37-year-old man from Pembroke is under arrest.

The incident happened in a nightclub at about 1am. The alleged aggressor was arrested on the scene and the 'pointed instrument' was seized.

The victim, a 32-year-old resident in Zabbar, is in serious condition.

Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia is holding an inquiry.
