Dominic Sant, 23, from San Gwann this morning pleaded guilty to using the number plates and license of another car on his own and was jailed for two years suspended for four.

He also pleaded guilty to driving the car when it was not covered by an insurance policy.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli also fined the man €582.34 and disqualified him from driving for a year. She ordered the confiscation of his car.
